I have been practicing therapy for 10 years. In that time, I have worked with diverse clientele encompassing varied diagnoses, socioeconomic backgrounds, age groups, occupations, levels of care, gender identity, and sexuality.

Continued Development & Certifications

  • American Association of Sex Educators Counselors and Therapists 2023 with attendant CEUs

  • LGBTQ+ Diversity Certification from Redwood Empire CAMFT

  • WPATH standards of treatment and letter writing recommending medical gender confirming care 

  • Ongoing personal participation in the local LGBTQ+ community at Santa Rosa’s LGBTQ+ Community Development Center Positive Images 

  • Ongoing CEUs with an active membership to the online training program available through Headway

  • 3 years of training as an associate MFT at a clinic specializing in providing therapy to children and families, with direct supervision by supervisors who specialize in treating children as well as gay and trans people 

  • Reading of over 30 books about the treatment, mental health, and personal experiences of LGBTQ+ people

  • Touring the facilities, getting a working knowledge of the treatment at, and developing professional relationships with the local 5150 psychiatric inpatient facility and intensive outpatient center

  • Specific training and experience in kink and polyamorous/ non-monogamous issues, including: safer-sex practices, consent, and couples counseling with non-heteronormative and polyamorous partners
